We are excited to announce the pre release of ‘Down to Margate’ in collaboration with Laura Lea Design. This new mixed media print revisits Dreamland in Margate, considered to be the oldest-surviving theme park in Great Britain.. This American style amusement park first opened in 1920 and was then requisitioned by the government in 1940 due to World War II, opening again for business in 1946. Since then the park has been bought and sold a number of times and even had a brief name change when it was bought by the Dutch Bembom Brothers in the early 1980s. Dreamland opened and closed its doors many more times over the next 20 years but the threat of permanent closure and redevelopment prompted the Save the Dreamland campaign in 2003. In 2015, after years of extensive renovation work, Dreamland re-opened its doors to welcome a new generation of visitors. - Edition of 25 |
Prints will be dispatched from 15 October.

We are excited to announce the release of a new piece of work in the online gallery. The Lloyd's Building of London hand drawing is a rich, colourful and intricate study of one of the most iconic buildings in London.
The Lloyd’s building was designed by Richard Rogers and Partners, undisputed pioneers of the high-tech architecture movement.
Located on the former site of East india House in Lime Street in the financial centre of the City of London it is home to the insurance institution Lloyd's of London.
Lloyd's iconic architectural expression is generated by the migration of all services and circulation to the exterior of the building to maximise clear interior floor space. This type of architecture has been described as ‘radical Bowellism’.
Completed in 1986 Lloyd’s was given a Grade I listing by English Heritage in 2011, the youngest structure to achieve that status.
Limited edition prints of this original hand drawing are available now in the online gallery. The print size is A2 (42cm x 59.4cm). Editions are giclee prints on heavy 308gsm matt fine art paper.
