The Joan Miró Foundation is a museum of modern art established in honour of Joan Miró a Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramicist. It is situated on the hill Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain. The building was designed by Josep Lluis Sert (a close friend of Miro) and competed c1975.
