Landmark is a growing collection of prints documenting important and iconic cultural buildings from around the world. Each work captures the form, profiles and details that provide a unique identity and image, often inseparable from the institution it houses.
This limited edition print is inspired by the colour coded servicing and structural elements on the facade of the Pompidou Centre. The Centre is located in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris. It houses the Public Information Library; the largest museum for modern art in Europe; and IRCAM, a centre for music and acoustic research. It is designed by the architectural team of Richard Rogers, Renzo Piano and Gianfranco Franchini.
